An effective supervisor must pull together a myriad of skills and tools to modify their approach to the individual team member. The tools needed to effectively inspire and lead a team are many, but you can boil it down to some essential ones. After collecting feedback and actively negotiating and reflecting on agreed-upon goals with team members. The supervisor can now clarify the message after gathering all stakeholder input. Then standardizing the approach, and direction of the team by providing encouraging messages and strategies to achieve the agreed-upon team goals. The supervisor and team will then reflect on the steps reinforcing the problem-solving utilized once again reflecting and adjusting the plan as needed.
